Hello to All the fab members of IWantFeedback!

It's time you were all reminded that we're not just about getting, but giving feedback. Which is why we have  decided to organize a contest for those who give the best feedback.

How to Enter:

:bulletgreen: It is as simple as taking time out of your day to give feedback to somebody from the IWantFeedback group. Post feedback on their work.
:bulletgreen: Then if they nominate your feedback then you become a particpant of the contest and enter the draw to win.

:bulletgreen: The feedback has to be given to a deviation in our gallery.
:bulletgreen: The nominated deviant has to be part of our group.

In all of our deviations, you’ll see the artist’s description has a section basically telling, “what the artist wants feedback on”. This will help people that are giving feedback know what to focus on.
Those who will be nominating have to take into account that good feedback is not only pointing out the defects/complimenting on what was done well but is also telling the artist how to fix them.
The feedback doesn't have to be huge or to be 4 paragraphs long. Just enough to be able to help the artist.

How to Nominate Someone:

:bulletgreen: Write in the comment section of this journal the following information:
Feedback giver: (link to the person’s profile)
Deviation where feedback was given: (link to the deviation)

Good luck to all.
We will update this journal with prizes soon and also the end date which has not yet been decided.

In the mean time, if anyone can donate points, journal features or drawings as prizes for the contest we would appreciate it.
Thank you all :rose:

:bulletgreen: Feature in the Group
:bulletgreen: a drawing commission from Alrathi
:bulletgreen: sketch commision from rafagranaa

:bulletblue: Drawings using bases or character creators will be denied.

:bulletblue: Sketchdumps will be denied; if you want critique on all the drawings, you may send each of them individually.

:bulletblue: Your submission's descriptions will need to include why you want critique or advice on the artwork and/or what about the artwork you would like critique or advice on. If you do not include this, your submission will be denied.

:bulletblue: Traced-over or redrawn manga pages or panels will be denied.

:bulletred: Needless to say, journals of all kinds are denied.
:bulletred: Deviations where feedback cannot be given, due to you disabling comments, will be DENIED.

This is a lovely group here and I am glad to be a part of it. I am wondering how this works, though. Do we simply post and wait for feedback? And of course give the feedback as well! I'm asking because in all the other groups I have joined to get some sort of feedback for any of my stuff it does not work. I can't seem to get any feed back for my submissions.

I apologize, but I accidentally submitted to the wrong folder. Is there anything I can do about that?

Resubmit it. Don't worry, our admins will decline the submission in the wrong folder.

where do I submit the description of the submission? In the description box of the deviant? What if you've already written a description? Do you have to edit it again?
rafagranaa Featured By Owner Jul 2, 2014  Student General Artist
It should be in the artist's description. You can edit your deviation and add what is required. You don't have to erase what you already wrote; just add a small sentece saying you want feedback.

Alright, I can do that.
